Amid the most polarized political climate American has seen since Reconstruction, the fact that the Presidential candidates of both major parties have come together to oppose the BSA’s anti-gay policy speaks volumes about both the moral validity and critical importance of ending this ban.
President Obama: “[I] oppose this policy that discriminates on the basis of sexual orientation.”
Mitt Romney: “I feel that all people should be able to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.”
